Rabbi Yehuda Eliyahu was born and raised in Jerusalem. He attended Yeshivat Porat Yoseph, Ohr Baruch in Jerusalem, Lakewood Yeshiva in Lakewood NJ and Yeshiva Mir in Jerusalem and in Brooklyn, NY. He then moved to the United states where he continued learning.
He also served as the Rabbi of the Sephardic Community in Hong Kong and then came back to the US to lead the Sephardic community of Great Neck. Currently, Rabbi Eliyahu is the Rav of the TOV synagogue of Staten Island and is the Rosh Kollel of Shaare Zion in Brooklyn.
